The interconnectivity of our physical bodies, our emotions and our nervous systems is reflected in how we live our lives, how we heal from injuries, disease and more. Much of the conventional healthcare treatment is split into distinct categories, either clinical or energetic.

Refracted from the full spectrum of The Lumina Method® Certification, the Prism Series delivers modular, deep-dive workshops designed for practitioners ready to learn specific assessment and treatment techniques for client transformation.

Prism 01 | The Autobiography of The Body
Understanding the Language of the Body
Our posture is the physical autobiography of our lives. It reflects how we move, what we have experienced, how we adapt and how we protect ourselves. In this foundational workshop, we move beyond standard clinical measurements to learn how to read the language of body, learning how to assess for physical imbalances and energy stagnation — bridging the physical with the emotional and energetic systems.

What We Will Explore & Learn Together:

You will learn how to perform a physical spinal assessment. We will specifically cover postural asymmetries and ways to determine the presence of spinal diagnosis (including scoliosis and Scheuermann's Kyphosis).

You will learn to deepen your intuition to look beyond the physical. Learn to understand how emotion is stored in the body and how this impacts alignment, how one feels and one’s health and physical performance.

Together we will explore the profound science and energetics of how emotions are stored and physically expressed in the body. We will map the direct connection between unexpressed emotional patterns, chronic physical injury, and systemic disease. We will also explore the link this plays in our healthy longevity.

Prism 02 | Beyond the “S-Curve”: An introduction to scoliosis.
The Science, Assessment, Energetics and Care for Scoliosis and other Spine Discoveries
Our spine is central to our posture. How it is positioned tells a story, it reflects what we have experienced, how we adapt and what we are carrying. In this foundational workshop, we move beyond standard clinical measurements to learn the story of the spine. We will take a deep-dive into scoliosis.
Here you will learn the pathomechanism, how to perform a clinical and energetic assessment and numerous scoliosis-friendly exercises that you can recommend to your clients. This workshop will fill in your knowledge and treatment gaps regarding scoliosis with the intention to empower and inspire your client care.

What We Will Explore & Learn Together:

What is scoliosis really? Together we will break down the structural, three-dimensional nature of scoliosis in a clear, easy-to-understand way for learnings and to educate our clients.

You will learn what’s best to limit when it comes to movement and training with scoliosis. We will discuss which exercises, postures, and movement patterns can exacerbate asymmetry, and the anatomical science behind why we modify them.

You will learn how to assess spinal alignment, postural patterns and at least 3 simple and effective scoliosis-friendly exercises.
You will learn when a spinal x-ray is indicated for your clients along with when scoliosis-specific bracing is recommended.
You will learn the diagnostic criteria for scoliosis and when it’s best to refer to a Schroth practitioner and why.

An introduction to conservative management guidelines for scoliosis. This will include teaching the difference between a functional and structural curve, how scoliosis is diagnosed, what The Schroth Method is, when an x-ray is indicated, when it’s indicated to refer your client to a Schroth practitioner and how to advocate for your clients within the medical system.

Together we will explore the emotional patterns often held in asymmetric spines. Including how this is linked to aspects of your clients childhood and their genetics.

You will learn practical positioning strategies, active traction and breathing exercises to manage tension, ease discomfort and modify your client activities as a way empower them through learning and compassionate support.
Prism 03 | Energetic Hygiene for Practitioners
Clearing, Grounding and Holding Sacred Space without Taking on Other’s Energy.
To facilitate deep healing for others, we must first learn how to care for our own energy. Many practitioners, movement leaders and highly sensitive bodyworkers find themselves absorbing their clients' pain, physical tension or emotional holding patterns - leaving them feeling tired at the end of a work day. Does this sound like you? This workshop is an introduction to energetic sovereignty and will teach you how to stay present and compassionate with your clients without being exhausted.
